Weekly 30-, 45- or 60-minute lessons (online and/or face-to-face), 14-week semester, master class/recital (online)*
This course of study is designed for college students (any degree program) who desire to continue learning intermediate and advanced piano repertoire for their own enrichment (not for course credit).* *
To be eligible, students must have studied piano for a minimum of three years or have taken Beginning Piano I & II or Introduction to Piano (MUSC 104) at UofSC. Students participate in either one master class or one recital per semester.
Student piano requirement: UofSC practice rooms are only for use by those enrolled
in credit-granting UofSC courses. Students must have their own digital or acoustic
piano for practice.
Practice requirement: 30 minutes 4 days a week

** UofSC students who have a substantial background in piano are encouraged to consider elective piano study with School of Music faculty for course credit. An audition is required, and space is limited.
