An Unparalleled, Global View of Business
Our innovative Cohort IB programs provide a unique opportunity to experience an education at two, three or even four top schools in different countries, all within one undergraduate program. The choice is up to you. In each of these programs, you will join a group of students from UofSC and respective partner universities to live, learn and travel together throughout your studies. By spending extended time abroad and working closely with your cohort classmates and international faculty, you will challenge your perspectives on business and cultural interactions. You will gain contextual intelligence and language proficiency. Cohort members remain together for multiple years, learning from each other and growing in respect, tolerance and teamwork.
You will rely on your peers for support when navigating a new country and learn to lead when fellow cohort members face unfamiliar environments. By embracing cultural exchanges and gaining in-depth knowledge, your growth will take place on a global scale. The friendships you develop over the course of your cohort track will also become your professional networks for the future. When you graduate, you will find that you’re uniquely qualified to contribute to international organizations and companies — because you will already be a part of them.

Cohort Program Admission Requirements
Admission to an international business cohort program at the Moore School is highly competitive and enrollment is limited. Due to the strenuous academic curriculum at our partner schools and at South Carolina, students selected for the program must have high quantitative skills and strong academic preparation from high school. Students who have completed or are currently enrolled in a college calculus course through AP/IB/Dual Enrollment course work will be given preference. Due to the four-year structure of cohort programs, we cannot accept transfer students or current South Carolina upperclassmen.
- Apply to South Carolina through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
All university admission deadlines must be observed for consideration.
- Complete the Moore School Cohort Application.
- The deadline to apply is February 15, 2023.
In order to apply, you must be a fall or summer 2023 freshman applicant who selected a business major on the admissions application. The online application is composed of essay questions on subjects such as your interest in the program, career goals, global/cultural experiences, language ability, etc. You will be asked to upload a resume and a copy of your high school transcript.
Admission decisions will be sent via email by March 31, 2023. Due to the limited number of students in each cohort, not all qualified students can be admitted.
To secure their place in the freshman class, admitted students must submit an enrollment deposit by May 1 to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
