Study Abroad

The university is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and will update information on this page as travel conditions change. Currently, Maymester trips are scheduled to take place.

From 10-day trips to semester-long exchanges, College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management students enjoy unique opportunities to earn course credits while traveling the world. Check out the top three ways to study abroad:

Faculty-led Study Abroad Trips

Your favorite professor will become your personal tour guide on these custom-built study abroad experiences. Typically held over fall break, spring break or Maymester, these shorter-term study abroad classes include anywhere from seven days to three weeks of travel and give students the opportunity to explore a new country with 10-20 classmates.

Students travel with their professor while completing unique courses, such as: international hotel management in Czech Republic, sport and entertainment management in Europe, baseball management and culture in Japan, and fashion and retail in Paris. For those looking for a domestic adventure, HRSM faculty also offer classes such as theme park and attraction management in Orlando or tournament management in Charleston and Florida.
