All courses are available online. This coursework provides educators with the theoretical, pedagogical, and technical skills and knowledge to effectively teach classes online.
Add-On Endorsement Requirements
In order to gain the add-on endorsement in Online Teaching, in addition to completing the above coursework with a grade of C or better, you must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher;
- Initial, Professional, or Alternative Route certificate at the early childhood, elementary, middle, secondary, or PK–12 level;
Add-on endorsements are determined and granted by the South Carolina Department of Education. Prior to beginning coursework, we recommend that you contact the South Carolina Department of Education to determine all the necessary steps to add-on endorsement areas.
