B.A. in English and B.M. in music performance (voice) and M.A. in English (creative writing emphasis) from Ball State University

About Me

I grew up in Salem, Ohio, and had a lot of different interests: music, sports, 4-H and writing, to name a few. I guess I haven’t changed much because my career experiences are just as varied! I’ve been an administrative assistant for the English and Choral departments at Ball State University, worked at a fruit farm market, and been part of the editing team for the River Teeth literary journal. Just prior to joining the National Fellowships and Scholar Programs office, I was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Koszalin, Poland. In my free time, I enjoy attending live concerts and sports, visiting amusement parks and reading and writing flash fiction.
